Chocolate-covered death-threats!

Hola blog aficionados.

So I’ve been moving and transferring and blah blah blah. Settled in now, and I’ve been getting a lot of feedback from y’all, my patient minions. I mean readers.

And it looks like a lot of you hate the new design and a few of you have been sending me chocolate-covered death-threats, so I think I’m going to switch it up over the next few days. I’ll keep y’all posted.

To keep you occupied, here’s something completely different – levitating Japanese girl!

Tell me what you think:

Hi –

It’s come to my attention that there is more than one person reading this blog.

Hooray!

So as you’ve noticed, I’ve been playing around with a new layout. I’d like to know what you think, so please leave a comment. Tell me whether you like The New Kondiaronk, or if you prefer Kondiaronk Klassic. Tell me what you’d like to see more of, and what you don’t care for. It’s all part of making this site a more accessible platform for all things Montréal (and a few things about me).

Also, check out the new exceptional videos page. I know there’s an issue with the ‘exceptionality’ of these videos – specifically the low-res ones – but either way I think there’s a little something special in each. Tell me what you think.

Cheers,

Taylor

The Fifty Most Interesting Wikipedia Articles

Raymond Robinson - Creator of Nightmares and Terror-induced Teen Sexuality - not the work of the author

Here’s a link to an interesting blog post about exceptionally interesting Wikipedia articles. I’m going to try and out-do this guy, but he’s already covered a lot of the bases. Still, I’m always up for a challenge. Enjoy – most of the articles are rather fucked up.

Exhaustion…

Joseph Ducreux, self-portrait, 1783 - AKA 'Yawn - What a fucking day it's been!"

Title and pic pretty much say it all. It’s been an action packed couple of weeks.

First off, I’m now living in Westmount
Second, I no longer work for the CCA
Third, The election – holy moly!
Fourth, I successfully trolled Reddit
Fifth, despite the odds, I may yet be able to do a Master’s at Con-U
Sixth (and definitely the most important): I realized I’m surrounded by great people, and feel both reassured and blessed.

So now that I have a wee bit of free time, I’ll be updating far more frequently, in addition to bringing in some new pics from forthcoming photography expeditions.

Also – I am now offering guided, thematic tours of the city for anyone interested. I think there may be a very small business possibility there; yes, you can pay me in bottles of fine French wine.

Much more to come amigos! Stay tuned…
